About Sarah Marcolin
B.A. University of Navarra
Sarah holds a bilingual liberal arts degree with a concentration in Great Books from the University of Navarra in Spain. While at Navarra, she especially enjoyed literature, philosophy, music history, Spanish poetry, and courses on Ancient Greece and Rome. She also played soccer for the university and in campus tournaments.
Living abroad gave Sarah a great love for Spanish life while also deepening her appreciation for American and English literary heritage. During her time at Navarra, she started a swing dance club and co-founded “Chesterton on Tap” and “Cookies with Clive,” reading groups devoted to the essays of G. K. Chesterton and C. S. Lewis.
Before coming to Avalon, Sarah taught high school theology and assistant coached girls soccer at St. Mary’s Ryken High School. She was delighted to join Avalon as a kindergarten teacher in 2025.
