About Kevin Oriani
B.A. The Catholic University of America
Graduate Certificate from University of Kentucky
Kevin Oriani follows in the proud Avalon tradition of wearing many hats. Since 2023 he has helped Avalonians transition into life after graduation as Avalon’s college counselor. He is also the faculty head of Stewart House and the director of The Thomas More Institute, Avalon and Brookewood’s homeschool umbrella program.
While Kevin’s primary area of teaching and great academic love is Latin, he also trains students to cultivate the body in Avalon’s upper school PE classes.
Kevin graduated Summa cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the Catholic University of America. During his time at CUA, he spent a semester studying Classics and Theology at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg, Germany. He also holds a graduate certificate in Latin Studies from the University of Kentucky.
Kevin and his wife Sophie live in Hyattsville with their daughters Tessie, Lucy, and Bridget, and son Martin (Avalon ’39).
