This September, Avalon graduate Peter Bronzi (‘25) joined more than 120 cyclists in the Archdiocese of Washington’s 10th annual Ride for Vocations. The event, which brings together priests, seminarians, and laypeople, is both a physical challenge and a spiritual witness—participants ride as an offering of prayer and sacrifice for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
Now in his propaedeutic year at St. John Paul II Seminary in Washington, Bronzi covered 70 miles on the wet and hilly Southern Maryland course. Of the ride, he shared: “It’s a challenge, but it’s also a chance to pray as I ride and to remember why we’re here.”
